Life squads is where we, at MCN, disciple and create community.

Life Squads are our small group ministry focusing on joining together to follow Jesus, experience transformation, and make disciples. We strive to be a church that is does the following:

  • Faithful prayer
  • Daily Devotion in the Word
  • Consistent Repentance
  • Sacrificial Generosity
  • Serving our community
  • Sharing our Story
  • Joyous worship

Weekly Devotional Structure

Each day do the following:

  • Give yourself and your time as a Gift to God.
  • Remove all distractions, focus, and give God your full attention.
  • Read the Text slowly
  • Meditate on the Questions
  • Listen for God and Speaking of His Spirit
  • Respond to God in Prayer with love and commitment

Questions:

Day 1 - What is happening & who is involved?

Day 2 - What is the lesson for the people involved in the story or the original audience of the text?

Day 3 - What is the lesson for me today? What does God want me to know about him?

Day 4 - What am I going to do about it? What is my commitment or changes I will be making?

Dive Deeper option - Add an additional day between day 1 & 2 and spend some time reading the cross references in the passage.
